Aaron Snell of Lake, Miss. is a 2006 graduate of Lake Attendance Center. After earning his high school diploma, Snell enrolled in East Central Community College where he graduated with an Associate of Science. Upon receiving his associate degree, Snell transferred to Mississippi State University. This summer marks his first internship with Hol-Mac’s Plant 2 engineering team; however, Snell previously spent two semesters as a co-op student in the same department. He described his stint with Hol-Mac this summer as, “an experience I never dreamed I would have.” Snell led a project to design and fabricate a stud welding machine. The implementation of Snell’s redesigned equipment will greatly improve safety for the operator, as well as overall production capabilities. He plans to graduate in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
