Continuous Improvement Engineer
Duties & Responsibilities:
Drive effective leadership development within Hol-Mac through teaching the HPS guiding principles. Implement HPS throughout Hol-Mac with classroom training sessions and facilitating targeted HPS RIW events that put into action the guiding principles of HPS.
Project manage high level projects as determined by the leadership team and use such projects as coaching tools for project members.
Take ownership of the Plants RIW schedules and drive completion of event follow-up list.
Be an ambassador of the Hol-Mac Way by following the values stated in “DO IT RIGHT”.
Participate in plant staff meetings as an advisor on the CI initiatives and upcoming deadlines for CI activities.
Perform all other duties assigned to this job by the V.P. of CI/LD. This includes but is not limited to the below job duties:
- Complete the HBT Program (Hol-Mac Basic Training)
- Abide by the Hol-Mac Corporation Environmental Health and Safety Handbook
- Coordinate & Implement Hol-Mac Corporation’s Continuous Improvement efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or Business with a background in Quality.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be PC and Windows literate; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Must be a self-motivated leader with excellent communications skills both written and verbal, and the ability to make decisions.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must have excellent presentation skills.
